SMARTconverter 3 for CAF's Civity platform

The vehicle manufacturer CAF has ordered 21 SMARTconverter 3 for regional trains on the Civity platform. The auxiliary power converters of type 140 kVA + 20 kW will be used in the local trains of the Dutch transport company Qbuzz. Deliveries will begin in November 2025.
SMART Railway has supplied more than 500 auxiliary power converters for CAF's Civity platform in recent years. Low energy consumption, technical reliability and easy maintainability characterize the proven SMARTconverter 3.
