SMART Railway presents PV2Rail

SMART Railway Technology GmbH presents PV2Rail, a purpose-build photovoltaic inverter designed to feed directly into the 16.7 Hz traction power network. This innovation enables the direct utiliziation of renewable energies in the immediate environment of railway lines without having to take the costly diversions via the conventional three-phase 50 Hz grid. PV2Rail is therefore close to consumption and energy-efficient solution. The compact photovoltaic inverter has a rated output of 100 kVA and fulfils all relevant norms and standards.
