SMARTconverter LIGHT for the new light rail vehicles for Bonn

The vehicle manufacturer CAF ordered 64 SMARTconverter LIGHT for the new light rail vehicles in Bonn. The auxiliary power converters will be used for Stadtwerke Bonn GmbH (SWB) and the Elektrische Bahnen der Stadt Bonn und Rhein-Sieg-Kreis GmbH (SSB). The lightweight and compact auxiliary power converters reduce the vehicles' energy consumption thanks to their high efficiency. Thanks to the "SMARTcooling" cooling system, they are quiet and practically maintenance-free. Deliveries will start in 2024.
